Who I help
My practice focuses on adults dealing with the long shadow of early mistreatment, and the problems that grow out of it. You do not need to have the “right” words for what happened to you before you call.
Childhood abuse, trauma & neglect
The central focus of my work: helping adults access the origins of their grief, understand what went wrong, and begin a real healing process.
- Physical, emotional, or verbal abuse
- Neglect and misattunement
- PTSD and trauma responses in adulthood
Anxiety, depression & loneliness
When low mood, dread, or isolation have become the background of your life, we look carefully at where they come from — not just how to suppress them.
- Chronic anxiety and negative thinking
- Depression and loss of gratification
- Isolation and loneliness
Relationships & attachment
Early relationships teach us what to expect from people. Therapy is a place to examine those lessons — and, slowly, to have a different experience.
- Repeating painful relationship patterns
- Trouble trusting or feeling safe with others
- People-pleasing and fear of being unseen
Life, work & transitions
Early trauma reaches into work and daily life too — confidence, direction, and the ability to feel that your life is your own.
- Career and work concerns
- Life transitions and losses
- Building a steadier sense of self
